AGYNESS

A while ago I came across model Agyness Deyn on the cover of LOVE magazine (see here) and for some strange reason the composition and pose reminded me of the roman/greek god sculptures. (I think her short hair and angelic features may be the reason?) With this in mind I initially illustrated the head and upper neck with no intentions of making her look like an actual sculpture. After i'd completed it I left it for about three weeks until I came across it again and decided to go back to my idea and make her look like a statue to make it a little bit more interesting. With a little help from Photoshop I think I did just that.
